Dr. AspasiaSissy Aligizaki

Dr. Aspasia (Sissy) Aligizaki is a graduate of Greek Philology and Law from the University of Athens, holds two master’s degrees from the University of Athens and the University of Piraeus, a PhD in International and European Studies, and is a researcher in international relations and energy networks.

She teaches at the University of Piraeus, in the Department of International and European Studies and is an approved professor at the French university Sorbonne Paris Nord (Law Department). She has educational experience as well as extensive research and writing work in European Law, International Relations and Energy (from a geopolitical and institutional perspective). Her writings have been included in university curricula in the field of Energy. She is a lawyer in Piraeus.

She has many years of experience in local government, having been elected as a municipal councillor in the Municipality of Piraeus at a young age already from 2002 and 2006 and has served for a considerable period in the fields of Culture and Education. She is a municipal councillor of Piraeus. She speaks English, French and Italian.
